FastPass course is when you do your driving lessons in short space of time. Maybe instead of taking 6 months to complete your driving course you are able to do it in 5 to 6 weeks or even less. (Depending on test date availability)
When you embark on one of these courses you are sent a FastPass theory pack ( this contains theory cd-rom containing all the DSA questions and a cd-rom with the hazard perception element of the test and one theory test fee.) (When your ready for your theory you may call 01758 721104 so I can book your theory test, you theory test is inclusive in the course price.)
Once you have studied these material and you feel you are scoring adequate marks, then we can book your theory test. You have 57 minutes to answer 50 questions, to pass you need 43 out of 50.That's the pass mark, 43. Then you may take a 3 minute break before the hazard perception element of the test starts. You will be presented with 14 video clips of everyday scenarios that you may experience on British road and you have to identify the developing hazard. Some clips have one but others may have two developing hazards. To pass this section,( the hazard perception element) you need to score 44 out of 75. To score high marks you need to identify the hazard as soon as you see it developing, hesitating in identifying the hazard gives you a lower mark.
If you're based in Pwllheli your nearest theory test centre would be Bangor. Test will last about 1hr and 30 minutes.
Once you have passed your theory then we can aim for getting your practical test booked and focusing on the preparation for the test..
Depending on which course you have booked then you can expect the following:-
10 Hrs course 9Hrs in car training and 1 hour for the test.

There is a lot of work to do on a FastPass course and learning in a short time frame. Therefore we are I'm the process of writing a web based on line tutorial that contains all the driving test syllabus and the Theory behind each subject. All instructions are here to help you in your training. Keep coming back as it's under construction.
Important Please Read.
The instructor hold the right to refuse you taking the test in their car if you haven't reached test standard with in the course. We'll do all we can to make sure you're well prepared for the test, but the instructors decision is final. We have to consider public safety, safety of the examiner as well as the care of the vehicle. If it's necessary for you have additional hours of in car training then you will be informed by your instructor and the cost involved. It's very rare an instructor refuses a pupil his or her car but because of circumstances beyond our control it can happen.
